Marla Simmons 1967 Camaro Convertible

Marla’s husband, John brought us this cherry rag top from northern Nevada for a complete re-do. The plan is to update the suspension, wheel and brakes and add an LS2 and 4L60E to the already stunning car. The interior was hand crafted of mostly bare Carbon, and gives a very modern look to it... 

Jeff Mortenson’s 1970 Camaro

Jeff is the owner of Classic Chevy 5 speed in California. He decided that an update would be needed on the next evolution of the project he named the ‘Silver Bullet’. We were given the car to install an LSX/T56 into the vehicle. While we had the car, it was a perfect time for us to do some R&D on the 70-74 F body cars... 

Colin Onaka’s 69 Camaro

Colin Onaka is from Hawaii, and contracted ATS to build him a corner carving 69 Camaro. We gave Colin multiple options for building his car, and he ultimately chose one he could service himself, and enjoy driving rain or shine.  We started with a complete 69 Camaro from Seattle, WA that had undergone a fresh restoration only 3 year previous. The body was completely rust-free and the paint and interior were flawless... 

Mike Bonani's 1970 Chevelle

This vehicle was brought to us for a Baer brake 4 wheel disc install, and an Air Ride Technologies air ride system. We did the swap for Mike to allow for adjustable ride height. We ran into a slight issue on the rear bags, where under load they would fold... 

Dave Bragg’s 1969 Camaro

Dave met the crew at ATS during the final thrashing of Chris Padilla’s 1968 Camaro overhaul. He liked what we did to the vehicle, and he decided that a T56 was in order for this former drag car. The vehicle was dropped off to us while we were showing at the 2005 SEMA show. We installed a T56 with blow-proof bell housing behind his 540 hp small block... 

Jessie Hilton’s 1967 Camaro Convertible

Jessie brought us his almost finished 67 vert for some final touches. We installed a set of Global West solid subframe bushings, Global West subframe connectors, and a new Ididit steering column with a Momo steering wheel. Jessie then brought us some APC universal fit sport seats to install in place of the factory buckets... 

Chris Padilla 1968 Camaro

Chris is a car nut at heart. He contacted us inquiring about a T56 install kit, and wanted to check out our operation. Being that he is also a Pilot for American, he hopped over to Vegas to meet up. After talking for an hour or so, we decided that ATS should build him a 68 Camaro into a machine that will be at home on the street, track, or show circuit... 

The Hogarty Camaro

The Hogarty Camaro is a project that most builders dream of. We are given a few project guide lines, a budget limitation, and told to run. Bill’s Camaro will be nothing short of impressive for a street car. His requirements were to be able to have a great handling street car, be able to waste any opposition from a 60mph roll, and have a true Vintage Trans Am look about it, down to the fender flares. The Chassis is up to ATS to sort out to our build style. 

Craig Boreta’s 1969 Camaro ‘Time Warp’

Craig brought us this blast from the past 1969 Pro-Street Camaro for a little drivetrain update. The vehicle came in with a Muncie 4 speed manual with a Hurst V-Gate shifter. The 350 small block with the 6-71 blower made just under 600 hp, and is a blast to drive. The vehicle was a HOT ROD magazine feature car in 1981, and has been stored in its current build style for over 12 years... 

Zach Volner’s 68 Camaro convertible

Zach contacted me after starting a thread over at www.Camaros.net asking if anyone in the San Diego area could install a T56 for him. Being that I am in Las Vegas, a mere 6 hours from SD, he brought me his 68 for a 36 hour endurance install. Zach was in BUD/S training at Coronado Island and had to be back in SD by Sunday night...
